THE NEWEST THING IN DICHROIC

The Dicro-Slide^tm concept is the same concept of decals. If you ever did a model airplane and added lettering, you used a decal, and Dichro Slide works on a similar concept.

A thin dichroic coating is applied to a special backing. You cut it to size and shape, float the coating and binder off in water and apply to your glass - any glass.

Here's how it works out to your advantage:

• Use with any glass, regardless of COE. Use the glass you have at hand!
• Control how much you use. Only cut sizes and shapes you need
• Cuts with scissors or use a decorative paper punch.
• Stores easily - takes little space - and it won't break or crack like sheet glass
• Available in solid colors or in pattern sheets

Sold in three different sheet sizes:

• 4 x 4" sheets, 16 sq in
• 8 x 8" sheets, 64 sq in
• 16x16 sheets, 256 sq in

All are neatly poly bagged with complete instructions and usage tips.

CUT TO SIZE

Dichro Slide cuts easily with scissors or use a craft punch (like those used in scrap booking) for decorative shapes

Shown at left is a sheet of cyan/copper (turns yellow/gold).

Note: You can use the "negative" area left behind after your subject is punched for special effects.

FLOAT OFF BACKING PAPER

After cutting to the desired size and shape, allow Dichro Slide to soak for a minute or two in distilled water. The dichroic coating and special binder will separate from the backing paper and you can slide it into position on your glass

This example shows the cyan/copper (turns yellow gold) oak leaf placed on a layer of thin clear set over a piece of black thin with pink/teal (fires to blue) dichroic.
