practice you will be making your own unique glass beads in all

MANDRELS AND RAKE

You will need these to get started - these are the metal rods you will
use to build your bead on. You get a set of 12 stainless steel mandrels
(with low heat transmission properties to keep your fingers cool). Use
the rake to pull colors through your bead, to add texture or to make
holes.

These Fireworks Collections have made up four
assortments of colored rod imported from Italy. These are the same
rods in the Bead Making Kit. Italian rods have a COE of 104 and
are compatible with Effetre or Moretti rods and our Millefiori. Do
NOT use with Bullseye or System 96 Rods or glass.

These Torch Work Glasses
utilize Schott Technology's ACE (Amethyst Contrast Enhancer) rare earth
oxide glass for the lenses. While effectively filtering the harmful
wavelengths produced by the sodium flare, the ACE composition enhances the
red, green and blue wavelengths. This renders a more realistic appearance
of your glass as you work the bead in the flame.
The Phillips 202-ACE lenses
filter out harmful UV to 390nm wavelength.
Well suited for working with System 96, Bullseye or Moretti glass,
NOT for borosilicate, Pyrex or fused quartz.
