LIGHT TO MEDIUM DUTY IRONS

"A" SERIES 60 WATT IRON (#39300) is a nice, lightweight iron suited for smaller projects, such as suncatchers or smaller foiled work.  Does a terrific job when doing decorative soldering work.  Comes with a 1/4" wide iron clad chisel tip.  The best little iron you can buy. Features a replaceable stainless steel element. 8" long overall, 5 oz light.  $93.98

HEXACON POWERHOUSE 100 WATT IRONS bridge the gap between small pencil style irons and the big heavy duty workhorse irons.  Precision made for long life and daily use.  These middle weight irons are light enough so your arm won't tire, but have the heat output you need to get the job done.  Both styles include 1/4" wide taper chisel tip with 5/16" diameter shank.  Choose from:

HEAVY DUTY IRONS

HEXACON HEAVY DUTY SERIES IRONS are the most rugged heavy duty irons available for continuous studio soldering. These irons feature a near indestructible outer element case made from a single piece of high strength nickel plated alloy steel. Each iron has a triple ringed heat interrupter/deflector to keep the handle cool and comfortable and make the shaft shorter, allowing for a more well-balanced tool. Also unique to these irons is the energy-absorbing nut which securely holds the tip in place. This nut also cushions the element from jolts when the iron is dropped into its holder, prolonging the life of the iron and element. All of the HEAVY DUTY SERIES of irons are equipped with long lasting iron-clad Xtradur tips and independently replaceable tip, element, cord and handles.

Use 150 and 175 watt irons for most soldering tasks such as came work or copper foil work.  Use the 200 watt and larger irons for working on wider lead or zinc cames or for attaching rebar.

150 WATT INLINE PENCIL STYLE (#39320)  
Comes equipped with a 5/16” wide tapered chisel tip with a 3/8” shank.  12" long, 18.8 oz Shown on wire style iron stand.   $141.58

175 WATT HATCHET STYLE (#39330H) 
The Hatchet style repositions the center of gravity closer to the hand. Ergonomic studies have shown that this reduces stress and fatigue on the user’s arm. Equipped with a 5/16” tapered chisel tip with a 3/8” shank.  7½ x 5½" overall, 19 oz.  Includes special hatchet style stand as shown with 100W iron above.  $168.98

200 WATT INLINE PENCIL STYLE (#39340) is equipped with a ½” chisel tip with a ½” shank. 12½" long, 21.8 oz.  Includes wire stand, as shown with 150W iron above.  $180.98

250 WATT INLINE PENCIL STYLE (#39350) has a 5/8” chisel tip with a 5/8” shank.  Shown in cradle holder that is included.   Hefty 29.4 oz, 12½" long.  $207.78

300 WATT INLINE PENCIL STYLE (#39360) has a hefty 7/8” chisel tip with a 7/8” shank.  A whopping 39.5 oz weight, same 12½" length.  Includes cradle stand.  You don't need anything larger!  $252.98
