The Lamps of
Tiffany
by Dr. Egon Neustadt
Neustadt's book is sought after by collectors and artists alike.
Most of our buyers for this book have used it as a reference when
constructing Tiffany reproductions. Others have purchased a copy for
their art reference library.
All the details are here: size and
shape of shade, predominate colors used
and any special effects such as filigree.
Bases used for each style
are shown and described. Lavishly illustrated in full color,
each lamp has one or more detailed photographs. Special care
was taken to show the lamp in the most accurate light to allow
collectors or artisans the chance to see the lamp as if you were
standing in front of it. |

Louis Comfort Tiffany at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art
By Alice Cooney Frelinghuysen
The Metropolitan's collection of
Tiffany pieces is cataloged in this concise book. Included are
illustrations not previously published, especially drawings and
renderings for interior decoration. Shea's Buffalo Theater's
interior is featured here, and until the this publication, it was
not documented that Tiffany had a hand in the creation of the Gem
of Buffalo's Theater district.
This volume covers Tiffany's paintings, works in stained glass
(including some of the most spectacular windows) his lamps and
decorative glassware. Narrative gives great insight into the man,
his work and his place in not only American Art Glass but in
American ART.
