Oak Frames By McNeil Woodworks are the finest quality, made
especially for use with stained glass. All
frames are made from solid Red Oak, and are hand finished and
oiled. All edges are rabbeted 3/8" for easy installation of your
panel. McNeil frames are sized to fit many of the patterns by Terra Parma and
others.

STANDARD FRAMES
Frames with an asterisk are constructed as follows:
- 1" thick red oak
- Mitered and splined glue joints
- Rabbet Size: 3/8" wide x 5/8" deep
PIN-ROUTED FRAMES
Frames without an asterisk are constructed as follows:
- ¾" thick oak stock
- Squares and Rectangles are glued and stapled
- Circles and Ovals are straight grain, glued
edge to edge and then pin routed
- Rabbet size: 3/8 wide x 7/16” deep

NOTE REGARDING FRAME SIZES
The dimensions for the frames shown
below are for the size PANEL that will fit in the frame. The 12 x
12" square frame, for example, is sized to fit your 12x12" stained
glass panel. We recommend that you purchase
your frame BEFORE you make your panel to assure proper fit.
Installing your work will be easier if you border your panel with
3/8" or 1/4" flat "H" lead came which can be easily trimmed if
necessary. |
