 Many of the products sold by Sunshine Glassworks, such as Glastar grinders, Gryphon band saws and Inland tools, are covered by some type of Manufacturer's Warranty.  Sunshine Glassworks is not authorized to handle warranty claims other than for items that are defective when used for the very first time.  Any item that fails after having been used, regardless of how short that time might be, MUST be referred to the manufacturer.

Should a product fail while under warranty, please contact the Manufacturer directly. The Manufacturer is set up to handle your warranty claims quickly and efficiently.  Our experience shows that the warranty service offered by these manufacturers has been excellent and almost every problem is taken care of quickly and efficiently.  Should your experience be less than satisfactory, please e-mail us at to let us know.  And if you have a particularly good experience, likewise e-mail us and let us know.  

We've made every effort to make this list as up-to-date and as accurate as possible, however the manufacturer reserves the right to change their warranty periods and policies for their respective products as they see fit.

GRINDERS

Glastar Grinders – All-Star, Super Star II, Diamond Star and G-9 Disk Grinder all come with a 5 year "unconditional, no-fault" warranty (diamond grinding surface and work surface not included).
The Bevel Star comes with a 1 year warranty.

Inland Grinders – come with a 5 year "full confidence" warranty (diamond grinding surface and work surface not included).

SAWS

Gryphon Glass and Came Saws – come with a 1 year warranty (blades and guides not included).

Taurus and Apollo Ring Saws – Saws by Gemini come with a 2 year warranty (excluding blade, bearings, drive belt and grommets).

SOLDERING IRONS AND ACCESSORIES
Hexacon Soldering Irons  
Hexacon irons are warranted for 90 days.  Premature tip failure is handled on a case by case basis.  For warranty issues contact Hexacon Electric Co. at 908-245-6200, ext 148.
 
Weller Soldering Irons  
For warranty issues contact The Cooper Group at 919-362-7540.
 
Mika Soldering Irons – come with a 1 year warranty.
The Mika TempRight Iron Controller also comes with a 1 year warranty.

Inland Soldering Irons – come with a 1 year warranty, except for the Standard Iron (Black and Gray #3905) which comes with a 6 month warranty.
The Inland Mini Phaser and Solder Stations also come with 1 year warranties.
The Inland Fume Trap comes with a 2 year warranty.
