FRITS AND POWDERS ARE SOLD IN 8.5 OZ JARS

Four grain sizes are available, as shown above.
When kiln casting, the larger the frit size, the fewer air bubbles that are trapped and the more transparent the final casting will be. Smaller frit sizes will give the cast piece greater translucence.

"Thin" your frit using Water Clear to lessen the color saturation. And feel free to mix different colors to produce "in between" colors. Mixing is best accomplished using fine frits or powders.
