This
is just what you need when you have a brass vase cap that you wish
to tin quickly, evenly and without a lot of work.
Canfield has suspended powdered solder into a thick liquid flux.
Open the jar, stir it up and lightly paint Action Tin on your
work. For small pieces, you can use a large, hot iron to activate
the tinning action. Larger pieces work better with a propane
torch.
Leaves a nice, even coating of solder when you are done. Perfect
for brass lamp caps as once the cap is tinned, you can patina the
cap to match the rest of the lampshade. Sold in
an 8 oz jar.
