0.072in diameter blade, as supplied with saw when you bought it. Recommended for glass 3/8" or less thick. Not recommended for ceramic tile, or materials over 3/8" thick (use the Mega Blade, below, for thicker materials)
Comes with four red and three yellow grommets and two hole reducers for like new performance

TAURUS II.2 SLIM BLADE
0.062in diameter blade, is extra thin. Used for cutting tiny shapes or where a very thin kerf is required. Note: This blade is lighter than the standard blade and requires a lighter touch when using.
Comes with four red and three yellow grommets plus two hole reducers.

TAURUS II.2 SEPARATING BLADE
0.072in diameter blade, but with a trick! This is the same high quality Gemini blade, but with a special coupling. Used to cut internally (like the hole in a donut) without a lead-in cut. Drill a small hole, pass the blade through the hole and snap together. Saw your internal cut, and separate the blade to free your piece.
Also comes with four red and three yellow grommets and two hole reducers.

Dichroic Blade

TAURUS II.2 DICHROIC BLADE
Gemini has taken an extra skinny 0.058in diameter blade and coated it with extra fine diamonds. This results in a blade perfectly suited for working with dichroic and iridized coatings. The combination of thin blade and fine diamonds makes for a smooth edge that allows you to fire at a lower temperature to achieve a fire polished edge.

TAURUS II.2 BLADE AND PARTS KIT
This kit includes everything you will need for a complete overhaul of your Taurus II.2 Saw.
Includes the standard 0.072in diameter blade plus six red and three yellow grommets, two hole reducer plugs, a blue pulley with bearing, five R2 bearings, a drive belt, and a set of raceway strips.

As long as you're replacing the blade, it is time to do the overhaul!

We have seen other imported blades on the market that are being provided for Gemini Saws. These blades are only slightly less costly than the genuine article and they don't include the required grommets.
