BREAKING AND GROZING PLIERS are the most versatile pliers in your tool box. The narrow jaws get into tight places. The curved lower jaw "reaches under" the score line, giving you leverage. The serrated jaws allow you to groze back any excess glass.

BREAKING AND GROZING PLIERS (#3888 – shown at right) are the most basic glass pliers. Best for breaking along the score line, and for grozing away any excess glass. They are 6" long, have 5/16" wide serrated jaws and vinyl cushion handles.  Our most popular pliers.  $7.48

GLASS BREAKERS (#0802 – shown at right) are medium width breaking pliers. The jaws are 1/2" wide, and not serrated (not especially good for grozing). Useful for general glass breaking. 6 1/2" plastic coated handles.  $7.48

WIDE JAW GLASS BREAKERS (#3885 – shown at right) have a broad, 1" wide jaw. Use these pliers for breaking off larger pieces of glass. 7" long overall.  $21.99

RUNNING PLIERS act as a fulcrum where pressure is applied evenly on both sides of a score line, "running" the score through the glass very neatly. Runners work best on straight cuts, do well on gentle curves too.

STEEL RUNNING PLIERS are a lifetime tool. These heavy duty tools have cushion grip handles, plastic coated jaws (gentle on the glass) and special adjustment screw (to keep from crunching off the corners). Choose from:

  • REPLACEMENT RUBBER TIPS FOR 7/8" RUNNING PLIERS (#3889-TIP) slip on the jaw of metal running pliers when the originals split and fall off. For jaws that are 7/8" wide.  Just 99 cents!

  • REPLACEMENT RUBBER TIPS FOR 3/4" RUNNING PLIERS (#3884-TIP) slip on the jaw of metal running pliers when the originals split and fall off. For jaws that are 3/4" wide.  Just 99 cents!

PLASTIC RUNNING PLIERS are lightweight, and are favored by many hobbyists who find them easier to handle. There is a variety to choose from:

  • GLASTAR GLAS-SNAPPER (#0814 – shown at right) is a very compact 5-1/2" long. The narrow jaws allow you to run thinner cuts.  $5.68

  • PLASTIC RUNNERS (#0818 – shown at right) have plastic handles with a little "give" to them, for a lighter touch on the glass. With an extra set of jaw inserts. 8" long. $5.48

  • RINGSTAR RUNNERS (#0819 – shown below) allow you to run curves in your glass ... something beyond the ability of standard running pliers. The unique jaw system lets you center the fulcrum along the score line (see illustration at right), giving easy and dramatic results! Instructions are included.  $39.98
