Stamped steel fitters have vent holes to allow heat from the light bulb to escape. Steel fitters are available in 2¼" and 3¼" sizes. The popular 2¼" size is used on gooseneck bases and ceiling fan fixtures.

All fitters include thumbscrews. Center hole will pass 3/8" diameter threaded rod.

Fitter rings allow you to attach your lamp shade to a fitter.

Solder these solid brass fitter rings to the top of your lamp shade and slide up inside one of the fitters above. Thumb screws then tighten against the fitter ring.

Fitter Rings are most popularly used with smaller shades that you want to attach to gooseneck bases or to ceiling fan lighting fixtures.
